Isa 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.” (ESV)
How awesome and wonderful it is to meet people who exemplify this verse. These folk encourage us, remind us that our Gospel is GOOD NEWS. We have a Redeemer who came and lived among us in flesh so that He might come and live among us within our flesh. We have a Lord who loves so much we have trouble receiving it sometimes.
As we face 2010- a year that if looked at with human eyes only can bring fear and trepidation- let us remember that we are to bring good news. We are ‘peace carriers’ as we are in-dwelt by the Holy Spirit. We bring Jesus into every place, situation and relationship we engage in. Oh- what power, what grace, what mercy, what love…..
